Anniversary of Terry Shiavo’s Death
In local on April 1, 2009 at 1:15 pmToday is the 4th Anniversary of Terri Shiavo’s death by dehydration following more than 13 days without nutrition or hydration under the order of Circuit Court Judge, George W. Greer of the Pinellas-Pasco’s Sixth Judicial Court.
At that time, Pope John Paul II stated:
“by euthanasia in the true and proper sense must be understood an action or omission which by its very nature and intention brings about death, with the purpose of eliminating all pain”; such an act is always “a serious violation of the law of God, since it is the deliberate and morally unacceptable killing of a human person”
In other words, it is murder.
